{{tag>Setup Grandstream Configuration}} ====== How to Set Up the Grandstream GXP2160====== The **Grandstream GXP2160** is an enterprise SIP telephone with support for up to four lines, dual ethernet ports and can be configured through the built in web configuration page. This guide has been written for the Grandstream GXP2160 but should also apply for similar models. Ensure that: * **Account Active** is set to **Yes** * **SIP Settings -> Basic Settings** -> **SIP Registration** is set to **Yes** * **SIP Settings -> Basic Settings** -> **SIP Transport** is set to **UDP** * **SIP Settings -> Session Timer** -> **Caller Request Timer** is set to **Off** * **SIP Settings -> Session Timer** -> **Callee Request Timer** is set to **Off** * **SIP Settings -> Session Timer** -> **Force Timer** is set to **Off** * **Audio Settings ** -> **Send DTMF** is set to **via RTP (RFC2833)** * **Audio Settings ** -> **Preferred Vocoder - choice 1** is set to **G.722(wide band)** * **Audio Settings ** -> **Preferred Vocoder - choice 2** is set to **PCMA** Ensure [[troubleshooting:sip_alg|SIP ALG]] is disabled on your router.
