====== Zoiper for Android ======
**Zoiper** is a multi-platform softphone which offers contact integration, conferencing, encryption and more.
The Community version is free but has limitations on some features, such as call transferring.

===== Setting up Zoiper for Android =====
  - Once Zoiper has been installed and launched, Enter the **Extension Number** followed by **@example.hosted.surevoip.co.uk** this can be found in your Welcome Pack. 
  - Then enter the password for the extension, then click on **Create an account**\\ {{:howtos:setup:zoiper1.jpg?nolink&300|}}
  - The Hostname field should be filled automatically if not enter **example.hosted.surevoip.co.uk** from your Welcome Pack.\\ {{:howtos:setup:zoiper2.jpg?nolink&300|}}
  - Enter your **Extension Number**. Then enter the outbound proxy **example.hosted.surevoip.co.uk** \\ {{:howtos:setup:zoiper3.jpg?nolink&300|}}
  - Select **SIP UDP**.\\ {{:howtos:setup:zoiper4.jpg?nolink&300|}}
  - You will now see the **Account is ready**.\\ {{:howtos:setup:zoiper5.jpg?nolink&300|}}

===== Troubleshooting Zoiper =====
If you can not register, check over your username and password, and that the SIP settings have been entered correctly .

Ensure [[troubleshooting:sip_alg|SIP ALG]] is disabled on your router. See [[troubleshooting:sip_alg|this page]] for further information.

If those are correct, also check your [[..:..:nat_and_firewall_settings#deskphones|firewall settings]].
